Gabrielle Davis, MPH, MA, RRT, LPC is the founder of Equitable Consultants and a facilitator, educator, strategist, and cooperator who believes organizations should be able to live the values they put on paper.

Gabby holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Arts in Counseling and brings a background spanning public health, counseling, healthcare, food cooperatives, organizational culture, inclusion, and community engagement to her work. These experiences have shaped how she understands systems, culture, power, relationships, and the ways people experience workplaces and communities.

Gabby is a certified mediator, certified restorative justice facilitator, and Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). These practices strengthen her ability to help individuals, teams, and organizations navigate conflict, examine difference, repair harm, deepen cultural self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change.

Over time, what once looked like separate parts of her professional life began to come together. Whether working with patients, counseling individuals, supporting employees, or engaging with cooperative organizations, Gabby kept encountering the same reality: we spend a lot of time asking individuals to navigate, cope with, and adapt to systems that may be causing harm.

That realization fundamentally shapes how Gabby approaches organizational work. Rather than focusing only on how people can function better within existing structures, she helps organizations examine the structures themselves — Who do they work for? Who has to work harder to navigate them? Where does power sit? Whose needs are treated as the default? Where might policies, practices, culture, or leadership be creating barriers that individual resilience, education, or good intentions cannot solve?

Gabby works with cooperatives and other values-aligned organizations to strengthen workplace culture, psychological safety, belonging, equity, accessibility, community engagement, and organizational accountability. Her approach centers cultural humility and recognizes that meaningful organizational change is ongoing work... not just a workshop, checklist, or perfectly worded values statement.

She is especially passionate about helping leaders have the conversations they often avoid — conversations about power, harm, race, identity, trust, conflict, accountability, and the gap that can exist between an organization’s intentions and people’s lived experiences.

Gabby creates spaces where people can laugh, wrestle with uncomfortable truths, ask better questions, and leave with something they can actually use.

Equitable Consultants grew from that belief — values should be more than something an organization says. They should be something people can experience.

Gabby lives in the Metro Detroit area. Community is her love language.

She's the daughter of Shirley Kinslow-Davis, proud auntie of Keegan and Legacy, wife of Samantha, owner of sneakers, and collector of dozens of Scrabble games dating back to the 1930s. #Nerd
